Boorloo Kwedjang Bardip Yanginy. Boorloo Kwedjang Bardip Yanginy is the Nyoongar language name of Heritage Perth Weekend 2022 and translates to Perth old Story Sharing.

Join in on the celebration of Perth city’s rich and diverse cultural heritage from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 April 2022.


In it’s 12 year, Heritage Perth Weekend 2022 is an event that celebrates Perth city’s unique natural, cultural and built heritage.


Heritage Perth Weekend 2022 features history and heritage walks, public talks, storytelling, ‘behind the scenes’ tours of iconic and curious heritage buildings, childrens activities, interactive workshops, exhibitions, displays and immersive experiences.

Join us on Sunday 10th April between 10-12pm at the Perth Town Hall, ground floor foyer and eastern lane way. For the ‘Perth Town Hall Conservation Works Talk and Traditional Skills Demonstration’

Learn about conservation works that are currently being delivered on the Perth Town Hall. Engage in practical demonstrations and hands on activities, in the traditional skills and techniques.


These ticketed trade heritage skills and technique demonstrations will be provided by Colgan Industries. See the website:visitperth.com/heritageperthweekend to book your place in the following demonstrations and activities:

- Lime mortar and mixing

- Shingles repair and conservation

- Repointing


In the undercroft of the Town Hall, learn more about the decline in traditional skills in Australia and the activities of the Heritage Skills Association.
