The Collie Goods Shed, designed by C.Y. O'Connor, was saved by The Collie Rail Heritage Group in 1997. The building is a community asset and the group have created a lasting legacy.
This is the story of how a group of dedicated locals not only saved the building, but restored it to become a central part of the Collie Central Business District. Now, with the assistance of the Heritage Skills Association, the building is a pilot project for heritage skills training in WA.
